DIRECTIVE ON IMPLEMENTATION AND TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS PRE – 2009
In light of pressing matters (Including the Gazette No. 50742), the QCTO has scheduled a meeting with all SETAs at a QP Forum meeting on the 14th of June 2024 for a discussion on the implications of the said Gazette. This meeting will bring about a common understanding on the interpretations of matters contained therein. To that extend, INSETA will issue its stakeholder communique related to how the sector is impacted immediately after the QCTO QP Forum meeting as scheduled.

INSETA REGISTERED LEVY AND NON-LEVY PAYING EMPLOYERS
To request an extension for your 2024 Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) application, please complete this form. Your submission will be considered by INSETA in accordance with section 4(8) of the SETA Grant Regulations.
It is important to note that missing the legislated extended deadline of 31 May 2024, if approved, will result in employers losing their Mandatory Grants (20% rebate) and the opportunity to apply for INSETA Discretionary Grants.

Kindly note that the EISA Examinations that were scheduled for December 2023 have been postponed.
Should you wish to amend the EISA packs already submitted to INSETA for candidates, kindly do so on or before 28th Nov 2023.
As in the letter, the postponement will enable INSETA to comply with all requirements in the management of the EISA process as well as finalize the identification of additional assessment centre venues particularly in outline areas e.g. Eastern Cape, George, Free State etc. These areas have identified candidates that must sit for the EISA. INSETA hereby confirms that the Learning Divisions are finalising DG funding allocations letters for sign off by the CEO. The first batch of these letters will be sent out at the beginning of October 2020; with the second batch following approximately two weeks thereafter.
We remain committed to providing excellent service and are pleased to announce that all staff are now able to work productively off-site. We have however experienced some delays and would therefore like to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
